2nd Global Leo Conference 2008 - Bangkok, Thailand
The 2nd Global Leo Conference was held on the 23rd and 24th of June 2008 at the Impact Convention Centre coinciding with the 91st Lions International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Leo Conference saw a gathering of around 50-60 Leos from around the world. The countries that were represented at the Leo Conference included France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Netherlands, Finland, Turkey, Sri Lanka, United States of America, Puerto Rico, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, China (Hong Kong), Nigeria, Russia and of course the hosts, Thailand.
In addition to sharing their views on leadership, Lionism and Leoism, the Global Leo Conference also provided the opportunity for Leos from a variety of different countries, cultures and regions to share their ideas, experiences and of course to make lots of new friends.
The Global Leo Conference got off to a start with the Leos getting to know each other and sharing some of their personal "life-changing" experiences. The opening session of the conference was graced by Past International President Lion Jimmy Ross who very briefly discussed the importance of the Leo programme.

The Global Leo Conference saw Leos coming up with many suggestions to improve the next Global Conference. The "icing on the cake" was the arrival of incoming International President Lion Al Brandel who really spoke from the heart and touched all those present on that day.
